Grey (or gray) literature includes materials and research produced by organizations outside of the traditional commercial or academic publishing and distribution channels, such as universities, government agencies, research institutes, think tanks, businesses, non-profit organizations, and non-governmental organizations. Grey literature is usually published only online.
