Where & when can I take the test?

You can take the test from any location, as long as it falls within the date range listed below. Just make sure you are officially enrolled at Tilburg University.

About the test

  • Preferred browser: Chrome
  • No time limit
  • Multiple question types
  • The test consists of 25 questions (5 for each module)
  • Maximum score: 64 points
  • Passing score: 48 points
  • You have three attempts to pass the test (before the deadline)
  • Each attempt shows a different version of the test
  • You can pause and resume your test whenever you need to. See the TestVision manual below.

Thousands of students will take the InfoSkills test in the fall semester. So, if you contact us, please:

  • Provide your full name and TilburgU username (e.g., u123456)
  • State your school (TiSEM) and the name of the course that includes InfoSkills (Inleiding Rechtswetenschap)
  • Describe your problem in detail, and include screenshots if necessary

Frequently asked questions

  1. Why isn’t my InfoSkills test available in TestVision?
    Your enrollment as a student is probably still incomplete. Once you are fully enrolled, we can manually add you to the test.
  2. I already passed the InfoSkills test. Can I get an exemption? 
    The InfoSkills team cannot make that decision. Please request a proof of completion from us via the email address below, and then forward it to your lecturer with a request for an exemption.
    Please note: No exemptions are granted to students taking the following courses:
    328046-B-6 Academic Competences Marketing
    325078-B-6 Academic Competences Organization and Strategy
