InfoSkills @ TiU

About the InfoSkills tutorials

The InfoSkills tutorials have been created by the university library to introduce incoming students to scholarly sources, effective search strategies, and key databases. There are seven tutorials in total, which are partly generic and partly targeted at the various programs taught at Tilburg University.

The InfoSkills tutorials are designed in such a way that they can be integrated into a course or used for self-study by anyone interested in the basics of searching for scholarly information. The tutorials are available all year round.

In the academic year 2020-2021 nearly all first-year and pre-master's students at our university are required to complete InfoSkills as part of their program.

Choose your tutorial

All InfoSkills tutorials are listed below. Go about as follows:

  1. Choose the tutorial for your school/program.
  2. Study the tutorial carefully.
  3. Take the InfoSkills test (keep the tutorial at hand).
