Research Integrity e-learning module

Research integrity is a crucial aspect of effective research practices and plays a vital role in educating future researchers. Tilburg University actively supports and promotes these principles across all levels of academic work.

All PhD candidates enrolled at Tilburg University are required to complete the e-learning module on Research Integrity, including the accompanying test.

The module covers key topics endorsed by Tilburg University including the Netherlands Code of Conduct for Research Integrity (NGWI), the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and the FAIR principles for research data. It also outlines essential procedures related to Ethics Review Boards, contract management, and information and knowledge security. Additional guidance is provided on the responsible use of AI in research and web scraping. The final chapter highlights available training and development opportunities, as well as the support network at both the central and school levels.

The module is self-paced and takes approximately 60 minutes to complete.
