Date (newest to oldest) is the default sort order. You can change the sort order to Relevance -- this will display better results on the top of your results list. Other sort orders include Times Cited, Usage count, and more.
Use the Refine Results feature to filter your results. Some of the main filters include source, Publication Years, Web of Science Categories (broad fields of study), Document type, and Authors. You can also search within the results.
Not all records have full text available from Web of Science. In such cases the TiUfinder icon will appear, allowing you to check if the full text is available from another database that the TiU library subscribes to.
The 'Full text from Publisher' button (displayed next to the TiUfinder) will bring you to the publisher's website. You may be asked to register or pay for the article if the TiU library doesn't subscribe to the journal or if the journal isn't open access. Don't ever do that! If it turns out that the TiU library doesn't have the article available, you can still get it from the Interlibrary Loan system.
Web of Science allows you to perform a very simple citation search. For every item a clickable citation count is displayed, telling you how often it has been cited by other items within the database.
Since the records are sorted by date, the articles on top of the list have not yet been cited. Their citation count is still 0.
