Create NEW ORCiD and connect with PURE

Registering your ORCiD with PURE is the easiest step to get started. The information about your work, your other author id’s and correct spelling of the affiliation name is provided to ORCiD.

LOGIN TO PURE and SELECT CREATE OR CONNECT YOUR ORCID ID

SELECT PROCEED TO GO TO ORCID TO REGISTER

Please click one or both boxes to grant permissions to Pure for linking your ORCID account

SELECT ACCEPT COOKIES OR REJECT UNNECESSARY COOKIES

CREATE YOUR ORCID ID STEP 1

Fill in your names and email addresses. Use your university.edu email address. Select Next Step.

CREATE YOUR ORCID ID STEP 2

Make ORCID password with at least 8 characters of which at least 1 letter or symbol and at least 1 number. Select Next Step.

CREATE YOUR ORCID ID STEP 3

Based on your email address ORCID automatically links your profile to Tilburg University. If not, please add Tilburg University in field Organization. Select Next Step

CREATE YOUR ORCID ID STEP 4

Choose the visibility settings of your items in ORCID. We recommend to choose option "Everyone" so your publications and profile can be seen by everyone in the public portal of ORCID. Select Next Step.

CREATE YOUR ORCID ID STEP 5

Tick the consent boxes for Terms of Use and confirm "I'm not a robot". Select Complete registration.

SELECT AUTHORIZE ACCESS

RESULT: AUTHENTICATED ORCID LINKED TO YOUR PURE PROFILE

Your ORCID profile is now connected to your Pure profile page. Don't forget to save your profile record in Pure! All current information from your PURE profile page will be sent to your ORCiD profile within 24 hours and updated automatically within 24 hours from now on.
