Zotero is een (gratis) reference manager, vergelijkbaar met EndNote. Library Access is de extensie voor je webbrowser die eenvoudig toegang geeft tot online boeken en artikelen via de bibliotheek. Library Access biedt nu de mogelijkheid om metadata van gevonden publicaties te bewaren in Zotero. Voor onze EndNote reference manager is nog geen verbinding mogelijk met Library Access. Het is wel mogelijk om je referenties tijdelijk op te slaan in Zotero en daarna te importeren in EndNote (via het RIS formaat).
NB: Tilburg University biedt op dit moment geen ondersteuning bij het gebruik van Zotero. We bieden deze optie in Library Access aan voor wie een eigen account heeft bij Zotero.
Ga naar de Advanced Settings van de extensie. (Klik op het icoontje van de extensie, klik vervolgens op Settings, dan Advanced settings)
Kies onder Partner Integrations voor Zotero en gebruik de optie Login.
Op de website van Zotero log je vervolgens in en geef je toestemming aan Library Access voor toegang tot je Web Library. Je kunt deze toestemming later weer intrekken via de instellingen van Zotero zelf.
Nu kun je items toevoegen aan je Zotero Web Library via het context-menu van je browser (rechter-muisklik op een webpagina).
Open de Zotero Web Library.
Selecteer de items die je wilt exporteren.
Klik het Export icoontje en kies voor export als RIS.
Open EndNote en kies voor File > Import > File, kies het bestand export-data.ris en selecteer bij Import Option de optie Reference Manager (RIS).
Zotero is a (free) reference manager similar to EndNote. Library Access is the extension for your Web browser that provides easy access to online books and articles through the library. Library Access now offers the ability to store metadata of found publications in Zotero. For our EndNote reference manager, no connection is possible yet. However, it is possible to temporarily store your references in Zotero and then import them into EndNote (using the RIS format)
Note: Tilburg University does not currently support the use of Zotero. We offer this option in Library Access for those who have their own accounts with Zotero.
Go to the Advanced Settings of the extension. (Click on the icon of the extension, then click on Settings, then Advanced settings)
Under Partner Integrations, choose Zotero and use the Login option.
On the Zotero website you then log in and give Library Access permission to access your Web Library. You can revoke this permission later through the Zotero settings.
Now you can add items to your Zotero Web Library using the context menu of your browser (right-click on a web page).
Open the Zotero Web Library.
Select the items you want to export.
Click the Export icon and choose export as RIS.
Open EndNote and choose File > Import > File, choose the file export-data.ris, and under Import Option, select Reference Manager (RIS).
