We zijn verheugd om een webinar aan te kondigen, georganiseerd door academische uitgever IGI Global, met een focus op de voordelen en processen van open access publishing. Dit evenement is speciaal georganiseerd voor auteurs van Tilburg University.
Als onderdeel van onze voortdurende inzet voor het bevorderen van academisch onderzoek, is de Universiteitsbibliotheek Tilburg University een open access overeenkomst aangegaan met IGI Global. Deze overeenkomst stelt corresponderende auteurs van onze universiteit in staat om hun boekhoofdstukken in verzamelwerk open access te publiceren tot 31 december 2024.
Doe mee met Mikaela Felty, Managing Editor of Acquisitions, en Jocelynn Hessler, Managing Editor of Book Development van IGI Global, terwijl ze je door de basisprincipes van open access publishing leiden. De presentatie behandelt best practices voor publiceren en het proces voor het indienen van artikelen en legt daarnaast uit hoe auteurs van Tilburg University kunnen profiteren van open access publishing.
Het webinar is een uitstekende gelegenheid om inzicht te krijgen in het open access publishing proces en om te leren hoe je optimaal kunt profiteren van de overeenkomst van Tilburg University met IGI Global.
Na de presentatie volgt een Q&A-sessie, waarin je de gelegenheid krijgt om je vragen direct aan de editors te stellen.

As part of our ongoing commitment to advancing academic research, the University Library Tilburg University has entered into an open access agreement with IGI Global. This agreement allows corresponding authors from our university to publish their book chapters in edited volumes as open access until December 31, 2024.
Join IGI Global’s Managing Editor of Acquisitions, Mikaela Felty, and Managing Editor of Book Development, Jocelynn Hessler, as they guide you through the essentials of publishing open access. The presentation will cover publishing best practices, the article submission process, and how Tilburg University authors can benefit from open access publishing.
