The Research Data Office (RDO) offers two training webinars on research data management for researchers and research data support staff of Tilburg University

May 30: Webinar Privacy and research data (GDPR)

1 hour webinar on the careful handling of personal data in research.

Presenter: Max de Bruin, Privacy Officer of Tilburg University.

Content:

When you collect personal data during your research, you need to be aware of the rules of General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and how you can do your research in compliance with these rules. The webinar will explain what personal data is, give a brief overview of the rules of the GDPR, and discuss the implications of these rules for your research throughout the research cycle.

A shorter version of this webinar is part of the RDM webinar "Introduction to Research Data Management" on November 6, 2023.

November 6: Webinar Introduction to Research Data Management

How do I handle personal data during my research? What rules and regulations do I need to comply with? Where do I store my data during and after research?

Research Data Management is an important theme for Tilburg University. This introductory training will help you understand the basics of data management. You will learn what data management means for research in practice, how to implement it in your research project, and which services are available to support you.
