By the end of this module, you will be able to:

  • Explain the difference between the surface web and the deep web.
  • Use Google Scholar effectively for academic research.
  • Evaluate the advantages and disadvantages of using Google Scholar. 
  • Define what a library database is and how it functions.
  • Compare the suitability of library databases and Google Scholar for finding scholarly sources.
  • Describe what generative AI (GenAI) is, including its appropriate uses and limitations.
