De tijdschriften van Open Press Tilburg University zijn nu beschikbaar op ScienceOpen, een vrij toegankelijk en interactief onderzoeksplatform. Deze nieuwe toegangsmogelijkheid vergroot de vindbaarheid en academische reikwijdte van de open access-publicaties van Open Press Tilburg University.

Wat is ScienceOpen?
ScienceOpen is een onderzoeks- en publicatienetwerk dat een open omgeving biedt waarin wetenschappers vakoverschrijdende inhoud kunnen delen, beoordelen en ontdekken. Het platform bundelt miljoenen publicaties van diverse uitgevers en biedt daarnaast tools voor content curatie, peer review en meer. Als platform dat zich inzet voor open science sluit ScienceOpen nauw aan bij de missie en waarden van Open Press Tilburg University.

Voordelen van opname
Door opname in ScienceOpen worden de tijdschriften van Open Press Tilburg University zichtbaarder en toegankelijker voor een wereldwijd academisch publiek. • Aesthetic Investigations: Een tijdschrift dat filosofische discussies bevordert tussen filosofen, geesteswetenschappers en critici van alle kunstvormen, evenals geïnteresseerden in de esthetiek van het alledaagse.

• Into the Magic Circle: Richt zich op culturele en sociale theorieën met betrekking tot het spelelement binnen samenleving, politiek, cultuur, kunst en het dagelijks leven.

• Passion: Een tijdschrift dat tot doel heeft ideeën en inzichten over affect en emotie samen te brengen vanuit verschillende filosofische invalshoeken, zoals metafysica, fenomenologie, sociologie, ethiek, politiek en (cognitieve) wetenschap van emoties.

• Technology and Regulation: Een tijdschrift dat een online platform biedt voor de verspreiding van origineel onderzoek naar juridische en regulatoire vraagstukken die voortkomen uit bestaande en opkomende technologieën (en hun toepassingen). Denk hierbij, maar zeker niet uitsluitend, aan het internet en digitale technologie, kunstmatige intelligentie en machine learning, robotica, neurotechnologie, nanotechnologie, biotechnologie, energie- en klimaatveranderingstechnologie, en technologie op het gebied van gezondheid en voeding.

ScienceOpen is a research and publishing network that provides an open environment for scholars to share, review, and discover scholarly content across all disciplines. It aggregates millions of output from a wide range of publishers and offers tools for content curation, peer review, among others.
