Dutch journalist in New York Times webinar: Seeking the truth through journalism

On December 1, 2022 (from 3:00 to 4:00/16:30 p.m.), SURF is hosting a New York Times webinar on the topic "Seeking the Truth through Journalism: A discussion with The New York Times's Visual Investigations. The speaker is Christiaan Triebert.

Christiaan Triebert

Christiaan is a Dutch journalist now working at the New York Times. Together with the Visual Investigations Team, he conducts fact checking research on public sources and satellite images, among other things, in order to debunk fake news and uncover the truth. He talks about his Visual Investigations team: its reporting, research and fact-checking methods, and their results.

For whom

Anyone interested in new research methods in creating truthful news articles is welcome to attend this English-language webinar. Participants can ask their questions during the webinar via chat. The webinar will be recorded so that it can be shown later e.g. during lectures.
