by Richard Broekman on 2021-08-02T09:00:46+02:00 in Databases | 0 Comments

Our catalog and discovery system WorldCat Discovery received an upgrade on 2 August. This post briefly explains the most noticable changes regarding the item availability information.

Search term highlighting

Search terms you used will be highlighted in yellow. This will make it easier to see why a specific publication matches your search.

Best available access option

Each item detail page shows the available Access Options, i.e. how to get your hands on an online or paper copy of the publication. One of each is shown, if available.

Please note: only one link and one print copy are listed. If we have access via multiple links or if we have multiple paper copies, you can find these further down on the page.

Multiple copies

In case of multiple print copies, the results list always shows a single item with a link to see all available print copies.

Other editions available

If Tilburg University has other editions available, e.g. a print edition in addition to an online edition, you will see this directly in the search results.

WorldCat Discovery will continue to receive updates with new functions and performance improvements and we will post about any major changes that may affect your use of the service.
