InfoSkills @ TiU

Introduction to InfoSkills

The InfoSkills tutorials, developed by the university library, introduce incoming students to essential information literacy skills. They cover scholarly sources, advanced search techniques, and key databases for academic research. There are seven tutorials in total, combining general content with material tailored to the programs offered at Tilburg University.

The tutorials are designed to be flexible: they can be integrated into a course or used for self-study by anyone interested in learning the basics of information literacy. They are accessible throughout the academic year.

In the academic year 2025–2026, all first-year and nearly all pre-master's students are required to complete InfoSkills as part of their program.
